Firearm and NFA transfers at our Dallas shop
Bought a gun somewhere else and need a Texas FFL to receive it? Ship it to us. Book the transfer below so it is logged before it arrives, then come by with your ID.
How it works
- Book it below with the item, who is sending it and the expected date. We reply the same business day with next steps.
- The sender ships to us. The seller can request a copy of our FFL from [email protected]. We send our license to licensed dealers only, never to private individuals.
- We log it in the day it arrives and email you.
- You come by with a government-issued photo ID that matches the name on the shipment, complete the 4473, pass the standard background check, and take it home.
NFA items
Bought a suppressor somewhere else? Have the seller ship it to us and we transfer it to you at our counter on a standard 4473 and background check; since October 9, 2026 ATF no longer requires a Form 4 for that. Here is how that works. Short-barreled rifles and shotguns follow the usual Form 4 process.
Fees
Heritage members: transfers included. Firearm and NFA transfers at our shop are part of membership. See plans and pricing.
Non-members: we tell you the transfer fee when you book, before anything ships. It is paid at pickup.
Please note
- Pick up within 30 days of arrival. Tell us if you need longer and we will work it out.
- Private-party shipments must be sent by a licensed dealer, or arranged with us first. Call before you ship.
- Inspect the firearm at the counter before you sign. If it arrived damaged, do not complete the transfer; we help you sort it out with the sender.
- Restricted items (magazines over your state limit, etc.) apply only to the state where the firearm is transferred; in Texas that is rarely an issue.
